This September has marked a significant milestone for Opus Talent Solutions as we celebrate 10 successful years since opening our first Australian office in Sydney. Founded with a vision to become a leading global specialist recruiter, providing the skills needed most into markets at the forefront of change, Opus Talent Solutions expanded into Australia in 2014.
Originally a small branch of Opus Recruitment Solutions, bringing cutting-edge technology talent to the Australian market, the Sydney office had just three staff members, and was located on Level 29 of Chifley Tower. Since then, the business has grown exponentially, with Opus Talent Solutions expanding its Asia Pacific offering to include branches of its other group brands including clean energy talent specialists, JD Ross, and hire, train and deploy tech experts, _nology.
The JD Ross Energy Australian division was founded in 2018, recognizing the country’s growing commitment to renewable energy. JD Ross Energy, a global leader in renewable energy recruitment, helps drive Australia’s energy transition by connecting companies with the top talent required to innovate in the clean energy space.
In 2020, Opus expanded further by bringing _nology, its tech training and talent provider, to Australian shores. With a mission to tackle digital skills and diversity gaps, _nology has since trained over 200 tech professionals, equipping them with in-demand skills and paving the way for more inclusive and diverse tech teams across Australia.
From humble beginnings to now, becoming the largest global team across the Opus Talent Solutions Group, our Australian division has made over 6,600 placements in the last decade. One of the leading providers of technology and renewable energy talent solutions across the country, Opus Talent Solution’s Australia branch has 58 employees, generates a turnover of $131 million and serves more than 1,000 clients, including world-leading organizations at the height of tech and clean energy innovation.
Following a team celebration of the milestone, Opus Talent Solutions Australia division is looking ahead toward a bright future with continued focus on their goals to: build long-lasting client partnerships, expand and evolve their services in line with their market needs, and future-proof industries through talent in highly skilled and in-demand sectors.
